Hello!

I am headed to Nice shortly, more then likely around the middle of July for about a week, maybe a little less.

Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of some places to go Freediving, or even show me around a little?:)

Unfortunately I speak no French.

Thank you for your time!

Be sure to contact CIPA. I believe they dive daily. There are plenty of freedivers there speaking excellent English. Among others, they are also the founders of the FreediveCentral. Also [ame="http://forums.deeperblue.net/member.php?u=3272"]View Profile: R?@@AMEPARAM@@View Profile: Rémi</title>@@AMEPARAM@@Rémi[/ame] who recently lived in the UK, is now back home in Nice. There is possibly no better place and opportunity to freedive in France than with CIPA in Nice.

hi Justin
couldnt help noticing your profile pic... what are you doing to that poor little shark?

Thank you trux!

island_sands,

That is one of our babies, the pregnant female(s) are seperated from the other adults to give birth, the babies are seperated from the adults so they don't get eaten. That little guy is getting moved into the outdoor nursery. That day we moved more then 30 adults and juveniles! By the end of the day I was covered in brusies and cuts. :crutch

This guy is the last thing from a "poor" little shark. The "poor" one would be the one that was left with the adults, they wouldn't last more then a couple hours! :waterwork If anyone was getting a hard time it was me! :blackeye

I guess that means no Dahab starting end of next week?

Sergiu!!

I am sorry my friend, but more then likely not. I am stuck in Riyadh for a week that was unexpected. After I am done in Riyadh which should be a couple more days, I have a couple days worth of work in Jeddah. So that pushed my Nice trip back. Due to the delay, I am more then likey going to be heading to Nice at the same time I was supposed to be comming back from Nice. Which is just before when I was supposed to be heading to Dahab. To make matters worse, after Nice I have a couple days in London.

After London I would be ready to go. I am worried it might be a bit too late and it's not really fair that I book anything untill I know exactly what I am doing. At this rate, not for a couple more days. To complicate matters, a co-worker is taking 3 weeks off starting in the third week of July. As soon as he is back my Boss will be heading off for 3 weeks as well. That makes it Sept before I have a great amount of flexibility again. Shortly there after (Beginning of Oct)I'm back in Canada for 3 weeks. Between July and Oct I will surely have several more trips to make as well.

However, I am not saying no to anything because my itenerary is always changing, so might have time to squeeze something in.

Let me know as the time draws near for Dahab and I might just be able to get to Nice and turn around very quickly. This would be preferable if I can't find anything to entertain myself there, Freediving wise. I am also looking at going to Dahab, then Nice then London then back to Jeddah. That is a possibility as well. Sorry things are so hectic right now!

oh! where, when, how, i am interested. I live in the UAE - so we are neighbours :D

No problemos Justin,

you will have some good time in Nice i bet and Dahab is not going anywhere, though the training week was (is) a great choice of holiday.

serge

I know!! I wish I could make it. I might be able to get there towards the end of training week, not sure..... very disapointing! :waterwork I hope Linda doesn't strangle me for all this...

I'm doing everything I can. If work goes well tonight I might be able to leave within a day or so, then I will know more. I will try and slim down time in Nice and see what I can squeeze in!
