I am curious as to what sort of foot protection everyone uses. I have been using regular black socks since that is all that fits in my fins. Does anyone have a reccomendation since i continually get blisters the size of quarters on my heels from wearing just socks, which offer minimal protection. Any sort of thin bootie would be great.

Thanks everyone,

Pete

I used to use boots with my open heel fins but when i read and i saw that for better free diving we have to use closed heel long fin then i had to switch to socks. I have tried IST and riffe socks for protection riffe socks has a layer down the socks for better protection when you walk. I hope this was helpful somehow...

Thank you, i now have a pair of riffe socks on order....i'll try it out.

Thanks,

Pete
