here in Brazil most people use band guns. I begun using a Mako (brazilian) pneumatic 70cm, after got a cyrano 50cm which i like very much for reefs, very fast to load! Nowadays i hunt with a OMER 90cm band gun but i'm not confortable with it. I like the longer lenth but found very inconvinient to load, it takes too long. Now i'm thinking about getting back a Cyrano but a 97cm longer despite of hearing that those are much noiser.. I found my OMER 90cm band gun as noiser as my cyrano 50cm. What do you guys think ans far as noise? does it realy jeoperdize the hunt?

i dont believe noise has that much of a difference between those 2 guns, they both make noise, so use what you find comfortable, be careful though if you hunt in caves a 97 cyrano could be a bot of an overkill..
cheers

Take ur gun, get a bicycle inner tire tube, open it up, wrap the barrel with it and BAM... u got urself a much quieter pneumatic gun!

Good Luck

Zane...

mamba kit also makes the gun quieter, stronger, and more balanced.

I hate band guns :)
