I do dynamic, normally without fins.

I have a fairly decent technique for dynamic no fins - p/b 7 arm strokes for 25 m (my pb dynamic w/o fins is only 68m tho... ;(

Anyway, i am trying to figure out two things:
1) the best technique for dynamic with fins. I bought a cheap pair of fins for experimenting and am a bit disappointed since my dynamic performance with normal (non-freediving cheapo fins) is no better than my dynamic without fins!
Yet, the one time I used a friends freediving fins I literally doubled my dynamic distance (p/b w/good fins 100m)

2) The other thing I want to figure out is what is the absolute best pair of fins I should get. I am 5'11 (approx 181 cm). I weigh 170lbs. I do most diving outdoors, and do dive during the winter.

One of the reasons I held off on getting real fins is that I do a lot of winter diving so I need to make sure I get fins that will work with or without neoprene socks.

So, any advice on what type of fins I should get is really appreciated! As well, any advice on best dynamic finning technique is also appreciated!
