Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Is it just a little number readout like in the picture? I wonder how useful that really is -
Could this be better? You could rig a non permanent transduce holder for it?

Imo the main benefit of the ff is for seeing the bottom type, i.e. Flat sandy or undulating, or weed. Plus depth.

If you want to go 2h then i have a garmin 300c with transducer that you could have for the money...
 
I want something water proof I can use by hand when I'm diving without the kayak....
