Thanx for any info about who dived what at that comp !

Signing up for news too, as I haven't heard a thing...

What have you got Daniel?

Qdiver.dk, havfruerne.dk and freediver.dk have news: 2 Danish records in FIM (Jesper Stechmann 60m and Maria Livbjerg 41m)

There is a link to results on their webpage in the "news" category, but it doesn't seem to work, at least not on my PC.

Just came back from Sweden today, left this morning, missed the competitions today not so much news.

I know Bjarte did a new Norwegian record yesterday, DNF 140, in only his second comp. Hanli Prinsloo did 112 DNF, a South African record. Maria Did a beautiful 150 dive but got a yellow card for breaking the surface, no doubt trying to breathe through her heel. Jesper did 201, Henning 210.

All i heard from today was Anders Larsson's 138 DNF, but little else. There were deep dives today as well, but i don't know any results either.

Conditions should be good if the weather cooperates; the new old platform is very nice to lay on when the sea is calm, very few jellyfish, very nice rope going plenty deep, visibility not bad and good bottom light, and some believe cold water helps with the diving reflex -though it also tends to make some turn.

Tomorrow (23-8) it's static and another deep session, weather permitting etc. No wifi at the house and busy organizers, so probably no news then either.

Just returned home after 2 weeks of yoga, freediving and veggie food.

Results of the Nordic deep, forgive me if I miss a few details, as I recall the top 3 results were the following, correct me if Im wrong:

Male:

1) Jesper (201 m DYN, 65m FIM, xx min STA)
2) Henning (210m DYN, 53m CWT, xx min STA)
3) Johan (168m DYN, xx CWT, xx STA)

Female:

1) Hanli (150m DYN
2) Maria (158m DYN, 57m CWT, 4+min STA)
3) Elisabeth

Kasper

Here are some more good performances:

Steinar Schjager did a great CNF to 41m (New Norwegian record). He also won the "guess your depth" this year.

I also think Jesper Stechman did a new danish record with 65m FIM.

Kars did 65m CWT

Henning Larsen did a 210m DYN. Is this the longest competitiondive in a 25m pool?

The three longest DNF-dives were:
Bjarte Nygard 152m (New Norwegian record)
Anders Larson 151m (New Swedish record)
Henning Larsen 144m

B-J, my 65m was also a pb, and Dutch National Record, the previous record Constant Weight was set a short while ago in Egypt to 58m by Daan Verhoeven (Dannybuoy).

When I have sorted things out here and got a few pictures I plan on making a little report on my website.

Nordic Deep was, like always, a great event, with a good, solid organisation and a lot of Great performances.

Kars.
