Hi all,

The air temperature is rising and the water temperature isn't far behind, unfortunately off the beaches of hartlepool the water has been constantly choppy.

Does anyone know of any sheltered areas around my way so I can finally get out and get wet.

I spent most of this year away with work so never had much time to get out, I'm changing jobs so I have a lot more free time as of next week, hopefully get a few dives in before it gets too murky and I'll keep you posted on any new spots I find

Oh fantastic! I'll have to hit those up, I managed to get out on Saturday to steetley pier off the north sands of hartlepool, spotted a few undersized bass and a few flatties so I'll be returning there when the vis is a bit better.

It was about 11° so a 5mm wetsuit kept me toasty but yeah it was about 2m vis so couldn't really see much, just the quick glimpse before it swam off. I might try get out this sunday so il drop you a text
