North Wales - Barmouth

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

Hi,
Is there decent spearfishing to be had in or around Barmouth?
[Alternatively, Porthmadog, Harlech or Portmerion (sp?)?]
I hear tidal flow can be very strong around there, especially round the river
estuary.

Not a clue from experience sorry but looking at multimap, it doesnt look hopefull. However a little further north there is Criccieth, which I'm told has some good spots; try contacting John Moorcroft.I suspect he might have more info than me
