Slowly unpacking, it's Christmas time here!

This is my new 75 pathos laser modified with Roi Fusion System! On the paper it should increase the performance of this 75 equal to at least an 85 keeping the length of a 75 and very little recoil. And this is the kind one...I will put pictures of the bad boys in the weekend. [emoji15]

I have always been fishing with 80-85cm guns and this 75 will perform better while being much easier to move in kelp and current. I'm sure I will use it a lot! What do you think guys?!

Very nice but how's that little lot work?Where's mine then Dario?Do they do them in a 45?

Basically you buy the nozzle and band/dyneema kit and modify your own gun. It's not a lot of work, just a couple of holes but it depends on which gun you modify. My Pathos only needed one near the handle for the pin where the bands are attached. Alternatively they sell Michelangelo 65 which is the all gun, I got one. Will post the pictures as soon as I have some spare time. It's an interesting little monster. [emoji1]

Where did you get the conversion kit from & how much, as I have a Pathos 75 Laser Open & I might be interested?

Cheers

Scott

Hey Scott, they are made by Roi Sub, www.roisub.com. You can get everything you need for around £100. I will send you more info by PM. Cheers, Dario.

And this is my new Pathos Saragos 82 modified with Roi prisma nozzle and Roi fusion 2 system. Will use this more powerful gun for deeper spots and shy Pollocks! [emoji1]

Wow - what a weapon- a triple banded 65 is just ridiculous! Really looking forward to hearing how you get on with it - probably the only gun you'll ever need!

Really impressive to see such an original design.

That was my idea when I got it. One gun for everything. I load 1 band and shoot flatties (the other two bands sit under the shaft in well order). I load a second one if I shoot in kelp and I need power but not extreme power. And finally load all of them when I shoot in free water. [emoji1] Hope to get some footage with the beast soon.

I reckon loaded with all three bands there is a good chance a flattie will be punched under the sea bed or a pollock will be spliced into two bits. Love it, happy hunting

I guess it depends on the size of the pollock but you definitely don't want to shoot a flatty with full power unless you want to end up as king Arthur in the sword in the stone.

Tough guys!

Went out with my friend Piero. We tried a spot for flatties but the vis was really bad so we moved to scallop supermarket. Bagged a good bag full of scallops each but Piero's float broke on the swim back and he lost everything. Luckily for him I'm a good friend and we shared my bag.

Moral of the story: if you go scalopping with a cheap float make sure you dive with a good friend. [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]
