I just decided to start using nose clip for dynamic apnea training, and I'm wondering when I should put the nose clip on. I like to breathe through nose first, then towards the end, put the nose clip on, and pack a few through mouth. Is this the way to go, or should I just put the nose clip on all the time and breathe through mouth only?
Another question, related to ear plugs: I have a pair of ear plugs, they are intended for surface swimming use, to somewhat block water into ears, the seal to the ear is not very tight, but probably good enough for surface purpose due to almost no water pressure. I wonder if this will help if I dive vertically, or will this do more harm than good and cause problem with compensation?
I posted this thread under "General Freediving", didn't get any reply after 2 weeks. So I tried to be more specific and repost it here. Thanks in advance for your kind relies and advice.
