Hi all,
I have seen comments and reviews in this forum on the Trygon and the FII noseclips, and everybody knows the Paradisia. However they are all a bit on the expensive side, expecially for beginners. Can we share what we know about noseclips, with prices and pictures if possible? I am especially interested in models good enough for DYN, and for small (oriental) noses

What I know is that the Trygon is the best, but 50Eur?
FII is supposed to be very good... price and picture?
Paradisia 30Eur... hard to find, and too big for some.
A guy in Hamburg was making one very similar to Paradisia, maybe too similar , now unavailable.
Martin Zajac showed me one I guess from his Apneaman company, price and appearance similar to Paradisia.

What else?

Most noseclips you get for a few bucks will be fine for the pool and its not that hard to make one up out of perspex with a bit of time.

I have one of each and I like the Trygon best for depth even if it did cost 80 Euros. All of the nose clips are modified to make them more useful. For the pool, my favorite is home made of 3mm steel and two pieces of spear gun rubber. It took a few hours to get the bend just right and trim the rubber with scissors but there is nothing better than something that truly fits and costs nothing. It doesn't work for equalization though.

i have a german made one and with some fitting modification at the nose patting i am very happy with it since 4 years now

i use it in depth and pool

Nose clips like Watts posted probably don't seal very tight against frenzel type pressure. However, if you have very easy ears, can BTV to a reasonable depth and it takes very little frenzel to equalize, would such a nose clip work for depth? say to 30 meters? 40?

I've made some that are similar to the paradisia and made to suit smaller noses. I'm selling them quite cheap as they're not the smartest looking things, but they do work (I can actually equalise against them without blowing bubbles). PM if you're interested.
