hi guys! im not a diver, im a norwegian hunter/fisher, i use a bow to fish from land and i am wondering if i can use a pneumatic spere gun insted (crossbow not allowed) anyway great forum:) lots of info:)
hello from norway:)

Hello! That sounds like a legal question as well as a safety one. There is significant danger in handling a loaded speargun outside the water.

pneumatic guns as well? why? im aware of newtons 3. law of motion, and that firing a big ass rubber gun with a heavy spear on land is asking for trouble:) but i dont se the problem with a small pneu? unless you ment its dangerous because it shoots a spear?
thanks for all answers:)

Basically concerns over it bouncing back and spearing you, since the spears are usually tethered to the gun. And you would have to check the laws to see if shooting fish outside the water is allowed.

An interesting question, to be sure.
