Freedivers,
What: Indoor Freedive fun palooza and pool training
weekend.
When: November 7th thru the 9th (or maybe thru 10th
or 11th)
Where: Hood River, Oregon
Why: To meet up with Northwest freedivers, train
and learn some new tricks for static, dynamic or
dynamic no fins, have some fun and just get out
of the house.
This is also 2 weeks before CAFA Nov Comp for early
training.
How: RSVP by e-mail to wes"at"gorge.net, we will need a
minimum of 3 singles or couples and will limit this
to 10 adults plus kids. Kids are welcome and we may
arrange playdates/sitters for your kids plus our three
year old Zan.
How much: Lodging and camping will be available at
our vacation rental, "The Coyote House" as follows:

Bedroom loft and couch are same price for 1 or two
people.
$80/night for queen bedroom 2 night min.
$50/night for queen loft 2 night min.
$40/night for queen couch 2 night min.
Camping $20 per person per night.
Then add $25-50 per person for pool fees if you are going
to train/use the pool, will depend on how many people.
If you are interested let me know what you would like
to do best as Tuesday is Veterans Day (a holiday)
Could do Friday night thru Sunday AM (2 nights)
Could do Friday night thru Monday AM (3 nights)
Could do Friday night thru Tuesday AM (4 nights)
List of activities and features:
-Static in very nice warm therapy pool.
-dynamic and dynamic no fins in 25m pool.
The guards are very friendly and we will have
our own lanes reserved including a wall lane.
-Tandem dynamic clinic and training
-Mono fin tryout/clinic
-Play pool game shark where we will have the
whole pool to ourselves (kind of like underwater tag).
-Apnea hill climbing.
-Potlucks, Thai food, movies, fun at the Coyote House
-No competitions, no judges, just personal bests,
training, learning and hanging out.
-I will post schedule when people let me know how
many nights they are interested in.
