novice 7 metre freedive video

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

This is me on holiday in Nice. A 7 metre dive. Filesize is about 10 Megs.

I liked the way the camera was wildly swinging around, and then when it hit the bottom became suddenly still. Keep it up, soon you'll be getting to deeper depths, dont forget to find a buddy if you don't have one. :)

I like you videos. :)
If you want some more tips:
- Your body movement while waiting for the camera to get down gives me the impression you are not as relaxed as you can be - your body moves too much (hard to be certain due to camera).
- You look down (towards the camera) instead of having your head in neutral position (like in looking towards the line). This arches your back and screws your finning technique (read 'Global war on error' article in the main page).
- Tuck the elbow of your equalizing hand closer to your body (chest), can easily minimize profile.
- Maybe you can rest your other arm closer to your tigh, same reason.

And yes, snorkel out. :)
