I am off down to NZ in early February and would be very great full if i could hook up with some for a fish and a little local knowledge so i dont end up in de Sh*t!

Nice you are finally getting to NZ if you are going through Wellington try dive@splashgordon.co.nz , there is a guy Dave he runs Spearfishing club dives some weekends, flick him an email and you have to try the crayfish it is Great.
