Now a very average answer will be fine. Does anyone know about how long it takes a "average" persons blood to make the full loop in your body, say to your feet and back.?

Jason

Not off the top of my head, but i've heard that it can take up to 6-8 seconds to re-oxygenate the body after you've started breathing at the end of a dive. This is one reason why you might see some people black out even after they've surfaced and started breathing again.

Cheers,
Ben

K maybe that wasn't the most thought out question. The more I think about it the blood to your brain is the important fact, blood returning from extremies....would it reintroduce +Os into the bloods -Os via the heart then to the lungs and back out? Then there is dive reflect too.

Or should I not bother thinking about that and focus on heart rate and lung capacity.

Jason
