Can anyone tell me of some places on Oahu that are good for doing shore dives and some spearing. Plans are in the works of maybe doing a trip year sometime to Oahu and want to get some spearing. I'm looking for legal places not looking for any surprises! a good guide book would be cool probly!

Thank YOU!

Check out hawaiiskindiver.net that is the local spearfishing forum. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

Hey BladeRunner,

http://www.hawaii.gov/dlnr/dar/fish_regs/

You can check out this site and it will tell you the protected areas and the protected species and seasons and size regulations.

In general, during the winter north side and west side have big waves so dive the south side. during the summer the south and east has wave so you can dive north and west shores. And watch out for the currents.
