Congratulations are in order for Frederic Buyle for his two articles in Ocean Geographic magazine, issue 5:3/2008. It is fantastic to see a freediver on the cover of this high quality publication giving good press to us all and providing beautiful images of freediving with sharks.

I particularly appreciated that he mentioned his lifetime of spearfishing in association with his work to help the environmental cause of shark monitoring. It is great to see spearos recognised for their environmental work in a scuba/green dominated magazine.

Check out some of the images at Nektos.net - Fred Buyle - Underwater Photography, and drop Frederic a line to congratulate him.

P.S I have no previous association with Frederic, but I appreciate his work. :)
