Oceaner vs Elios

I've been using a custom oceaner yam45 3m suit since I started diving, and I need a new suit. I'm considering switching to Elios, (their Hi-perform suit in specific).

I dive primarily for depth, and was wondering if anyone who had experience with both suits could offer any opinions on suit flexibility/tailoring quality/warmth (in that order, I primarily dive in warm waters, so I'm not too worried about getting cold). My primary concern is suit flexibility. Also stuff like comfort during freefall, does the suit tend to bunch up around the shoulders, when diving with your hands up, etc.

The Elios suit is made to fit well with arms above shoulder and freefalling.

I recently got my 3mm slickskin suit from Aqualand with their "hands-over-head / monofin" cut.

I am very impressed with its fit, as well as this specific cut. Not only is the underarm cut differently, but the entire shoulder / neck / trapezius area is tailored specifically for this posture / position.

I think it is a better design than my Elios "monofin" cut top, which is only focused on the underarm area.

Note that this was the first time that I got into this suit and was completely dry.

Next time I'd use a bit of lube on my upper arms / shoulders / in the upper sleeves of the suit, so that I can get them all the way in the sleeves and re-position / rotate slightly if needed. This would eliminate some of the folds on the rear shoulder with arms overhead.

Looks to be a very promising depth suit at 1/2 the price of my other custom made Italian suit.

This suit is internally lined with Lycra for both durability and so that I can reverse it for spearfishing.

This suit is SCREAMING to go to Long Island Bahamas

I can confirm that the elios suit has the armpit mod only the arms hemselves is tailored to go out to the sides like any long sleeve T-shirt.

To be honest i think it also is very different how muscular shoulders and arms you have in regard to how the over shoulder position will be good with the wetsuitjacket on or not.

My build / proportions tend to exaggerate the need for a good (custom) fit and extreme suit flexibility. Even more so 2 yrs ago when I had 20lbs of additional muscle mass and I was less personally flexible.

When I stretch my arms overhead, I tend to tighten / tension the suit horizontally across the back and vertically through the chest / torso much more than the rest of my regular dive partners.

I am delighted with the cut and flexibility of this Aqualand suit suit and can't wait to get it wet.

I think this may be a new cut for them, as I requested the underarm piece and specified for monofin use. In Toronto we use a ton of these suits and this is the first that I have seen with the revised arm / shoulder cut... And first I have seen with the underarm "diamond de-tensioners".

Very impressed / satisfied so far.

I've seen lots of elios wetsuits and in my little opinion they're really nice, but i don't know oceaner once

Can anyone provide any info on the hi-perform suit? Is it as awesome as it looks/sounds? How does it compare to Heiwa + supersmooth?

I keep asking Elios about it, and we've had around 6 e-mails go back and forth where I ask them about the hi-perform suit and they keep telling me how awesome Heiwa is...
I'm really confused.
