OceanMen DVD available .
Maybe not all of you deepberbluers out there know it yet and it might be good news to you. I was very excited myself when Ryuzo Shinomiya gave me the hint.
There is a DVD Documentary of the IMAX Movie OceanMan available from Amazon Japan. It is spoken in English and Japanese and shows some great footage of Umberto and Pipin. But be warned: IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL IMAX MOVIE. Some of the best scenes are missing (like the intro with the cavern dive of Umberto). That gave me a little disappointment when I first tuned into the Film. But then there is some great footage of the 80m CW dive of Umberto and the 163m NL dive of Pipin!

You might not be able to browse through the hole website because it is in Japanese. But the checkout and payment stuff is all in English too. You pay in ￥(Yen) but that doesn't have to bother you because the credit card institute charges you in your state's currency at the end. It cost ￥ 4,700 (which equals about usd 45) including shipment. They said it would take 4-5 weeks to ship, but the DVD came within 14 days.
One last thing: the DVD is in country code 2 - which fits well for us in Europe but might cause you a headache in the USA unless you watch it with a codefree DVD or on your computer.
