Finally, what I've been waiting for; Look here for more details.

Hopefully the dvd comes out pretty soon after this. I'm just glad that the movie didn't get lost during the break down of the original producing company h5b5.

I know that Oceanman has already played in some Europeon countries. It was supposed to be released on video I think almost a year ago. We will see what happens. Would be nice to see on DVD.

Well, oceanmen IS released on video but it's the 1:20 min documentary and not the IMAX version of the movie which is just 40 min. I find the IMAX version much more entertaining because it's made 'to shock and awe".

I just came across Ocean Men playing on the OLN channel here in Canada. It is the 40 minute IMAX film by Talbot being shown on television. I finally got to see it for the first time. Some beautiful footage, as well as some brief archived clips of early dives by Mayol and others. It doesn't seem to be out in DVD though. Hopefully it becomes available for purchase. It would also be great if someone could compile old historic films of early free diving records and make that available. There must be lots of old film clips lying around that would be of great historical interest.
