Hi all,

Anybody has an opinion on that? These two makers of inexpensive custom-made wetsuits are both in Thessaloniki, Greece. They have very similar (same?) prices for making and shipping, and very similar preperation and shipping times. They even use the same measuring chart. Both are very friendly and fast with their emails. I have a suspicion that Oceanos has been around for longer (the lady I spoke to told me that she's been making wetsuits for 25 years).

Anybody has experiences with both? Any feedback in general?

Thanks!

I've got an oceanos suit and can Highly recommend it. Fantastic value for money. Looking at the websites it looks like they're using the same neoprene.

I see, thanks for the feedback. Looking around the forums, the vast
majority of the people who bought from either Oceanos or Aqualand
are very happy so it seems that both are probably an equal good
choice.

I thought I'd wait till I'd had chance to use my oceanos wetsuit a few times before I commented. It arrived quicker than I was expecting. Took it out, and at first thought it was very green. I went for the abstract green camo. 7mm. But once it was wet it looked very dark and a good camo colour. The fit is awesome. There's not a single complaint with its size. Seams are all good and look secure as well. The only bad points I can think off. And to be honest these aren't really bad points, just possible improvements. The beaver tail closure isn't the most expensive system. But works perfectly well. The second is it could do with an air vent in the top of the hood. I would recommend oceanos to anyone. Very warm, very comfortable very flexible neoprene and very well made. Spiros is really easy to do business with and replys quickly through email. When ordering remember to add your measurements to the shopping cart. I didn't find this part till I'd clicked order now. Then I had to sort it through email.
