Hi all,

I have a pair of Cressi Gara 3000 LD. I'm about to start
packing my luggage for a trip and unfortunately the fins
are a bit too long, so I have to bent them to keep them
in. It's a decent amount of bending, the diagonal of the
suitcase is around 80cm and the fins are around 90 cm.
They will be stored for 4 days. Would that cause some
kind of permanent bending to the fins or something?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Update: there was no space for my other stuff
in the suitcase, so if I take the fins I'll have to
take them in the cabin with me.

If somebody can comment that for the future,
still, let me know..

I've left weight on my plastic Imersion fins for a couple of weeks before which lead to a fairly serious bend / warp.

Within 10 fin strokes in the water they were back to normal.

I think it'd depend on the model of fin itself though, as different materials with different properties and thicknesses are used.

That's good to know! After storing one fin in the luggage
for a couple of hours, it is slightly bent! Hopefully it will be
back after a few strokes too..
