Okinawa Freediving Course wanted

I am a lodging manager at a military resort in Okinawa, Japan.
I am interested in finding a freediving course.
If anyone knows of a group, club or some other freediving course please contact me at thomas.chester@kadena.af.mil .
As Assistant Lodging Manager it is part of my 'job' to organize conferences, retreats, events to increase occupancy here at Okuma.
I would like to start with free diving courses and if there is enough interest, eventually start hosting free diving competitions.
While I am new to freediving I have been a licensed scuba diver for 31 years.
I hope that someone out there can help me start a new tradition for Okuma.

I do know of a freediving course here on Oki and is done by a local national. I will email you the info tomorrow after work.

Hi Tom,
Ryuzo Shinomiya lives and teaches freediving in Okinawa, he has even run 2 competitions there near Maeda point. Ryuzo is a qualified Apnea Academy Instructor and AIDA instructor and has regularly made world top 10 ranking lists in competitive freediving. He has dived 90m+ constant and over 8min in static.
