Old Records on DVD?

Hi,

Does anyone know are there any DVD-format movies available of the freediving legends. Mayol, Maiorca, Pipin, Umberto etc?

The best I've been able to get my hands on was some old VHS tape that has a bunch of nice dives, starting from the very early records, but it's in some weird format (SECAM?) and plays black and white here...Plus I don't own a VHS machine anymore.

Does anyone know is there more modern version of these around? I think in at least French and Italian, there are a lots of these kinds of documentaries, but not much of them make their way to finnish stores. So any hints would be appreciated. Never mind the language, I'm interested in the footage :)

I don't know of any dvd's with such footage but I think I could convert the vhs for you and burn you a dvd with the footage. I'm confident I can make it in color.
 
A few years ago, there was a french website with many old videos:
Enzos -50m, Jacques -100m and many videos of Umberto.
Quality wasn't the best, but nice to watch...
I searched a little bit, but unfortuntely I didn't find it again. :confused:

You can find even more video links (both old and new) on my Video Collection page that I've compiled during the past 2 weeks and just put online. There are several hundreds of freediving and apnea videos listed.
 
I am just adding some more links that I still have on the hardrive and in bookmarks, so there will be about a dozen more during this evening. However, there are many others available online. I'll try to keep updating it, but am not sure how much time I can afford to spend on it
