Hey Anton, its obvious that landing this one was struggle, it bit that guys head clean off!

Amphib, Careful around our borders. I cannot get within 15 kms of them... coast guard will get you faster than you can say, "Is that Air cover I see?" They take the borders seriously due to smugglers (humans, drugs, etc.) and , ahem, border disputes. You can take the long way around though but like you say, this time of year is a bit warm. Jelly fish should be swarming any day now... ;-(

I've got a multiple re-entry visa and wajid bucksheesh, mafi mushkalla Sadiq

god damn I hate the gulf jellyfish. they don't hurt that much - but the cumlative burn after 3hrs of spearfishing is NASTY.

Speaking of Aircover, I was buzzed by a gunship today while spearfishing, got a nice wave from the SpecOps guy behind the belt fed 30cal.... silly terrorists...

Yeah, I know what you mean. I must say, as an American I feel much safer here with my Qatari friends than I would in most other places in the world. Security is rather HIGH and they do not deal with threats lightly.

and the jellyfish... only place I have ever lived where I actually keep a large plastic bottle of vinegar for jellyfish stings in the truck at all times.
