I am away Wednesday....supposedly! to finish a job. It was supposed to be 10 days but is now in its 11th month!!. And then I start a possible 2 year contract at the 175m range.
My birthday was spent at Catterline bay.....heres a laugh for you.!!!!
took my yak for a spin to see the seals birds dolphins etc then thought fishing was in order for a few mackeral. Well it turned into a Laurel and Hardy production from there in.
First my new motor refused to restart...no problem I have a paddle so I will drift and fish. Then i decided to sit on my cool box and almost capsized my yak so had to jump in, I get back to the yak with coolbox and then my rod snags and goes overboard. ....no ways I`m losing that so back in and after it. Get back to the yak with rod before my line runs out and after a while manage to get unsnagged. It was at some point around then that I noticed my yak had a puncture. I decided to call it a day and skip the diving/snorkeling for lobsters so paddled home in my sinking boat.!!! knackered and slept well!
What I havn`t mentioned is my friend who is in the boat now has this expression on their face I cannot describe!!!rofl oh well hope they get the courage to go back in the water again!
It wasn`t all bad though ...stopped at the pub that now has Kriek(cherry ) ale on tap.....mmmmmmmm
and I got 2 nice macks
