What is a 1911 style safety's???

Im gona get that gun so this is interesting to hear... First complaint Iv herd soo farr

No complaint about the gun, I really dig mine. I was pointing out the fact that I use safety's on my guns but didn't want to see a technical post turn into the politics of their use.

The 1911 grip safety can be seen here and is one of two that I use on my guns.

Cheers, Don Paul

Had a testrun this evening just to make sure everything works before going out proper again. The recoil really suprised me. As in lack of. Just a soft *woosh* and a good pull on the mono. Made me go all in the car on my way home

The replacement parts are still in the mail somewhere, will have to think about inserting them as my little fix now makes the safety quite pleasant to operate.

I also found out why all the sand had gathered on the inside of the mech, there was a very thin, oily film on the inside surfaces. A nice, hot and soapy wash solved that problem
