Aloha, I bought a pair of Omer Bat 25 last summer and they've been really good for me. However, one fin has delaminated badly from the tip up about 6 inches. I'm definitely on the anal side of caring for my equipment and use a wide range of omer products-all to my satisfaction. Has anyone else had this problem? Were you able to fix it? I've considered peeling back the layers an then applying resin. but this would entail ripping off the rails and likely impair the action of the blade tip which I imagine is pretty key? Any advice appreciated

Before doing modifications on your own you better check with OMER, maybe there is some warranty if the delamination is due to a flaw in manufacturing. If not then they should know what would do best for the blade.

Try contacting Mark over these forums, I think he is the OMER rep. for the US.

Hey Holdown
Sorry to hear about your problem.

Is it under warranty, Im not sure, but I think their is a 1 year manufactures warranty. if their is don't try and fix it. Usually delamination is a manufacturing issue.

Either way don't try and peel back the laminates it won't work and will just make it worse. You basiclly can't fix the problem.

BTY, Are you from Oahu, If you are drop me a line, Im looking for a dive partner.
