Has anyone had any experience with these two wetsuits? I've been rockin' a Yazbeck camo 5mm for 2 years now, and the wear and tear are starting to effect warmth. I've sewed and modified as much as possible without deconstructing the whole damn suit. It's the best kelp/reef pattern I've found, besides the old Omer Med Mimetic, which they've discontinued(dammit!!!) for the Brown Mimetic. The problem with my Omer Med is the seams constantly have to be resewn over and over. I'm hoping someone has some insight as to if the brown mimetic construction is any better? Same with the Sporasub green mimetic, any experience? I've also been debating over the new Yazbeck kelpstalker/sniper. Thanks.

I generally like Omer gear and I have quite a bit of it. I have never had one of their suits but they definitely had some problem at some time with them. I have seen it said a few times on DB and elsewhere about the suits falling apart. Suprising really as their guns etc are well made. Sporasub as I understand it are now Omer so the suits may both be made in the same factory. Spaghetti explained it here http://forums.deeperblue.com/euro-spearguns/85422-new-sporasub-one-speargun-2.html#post796010 .

In the UK the MTM Elios suits are rated the best although I have a Diveskin MTM in Greece. These order MTM suits over the internet companies have enjoyed a lot of success.

Dave.

I have the Omer brown and have about 20 dives on it. I bought it 2 yrs ago. I just checked the suit and it does seem like some of the seams are getting loose and may need to be resewn at some point.

Get a beuchat, had one for 2 years, probably done well over 50 dives in it and it deosnt have a whole in it or need repairing in anyway. The brown mundial camo is great too!
