Omer carbon SpearGun Problems....twice

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Well if only sigh
It does at least show Omer's commitment to their customers but why not just go straight back to the dealer where you bought the gun? Its a hell of a thing when the US main agent has to sort out the problems of a guy in Cyprus when the Cyprus dealer would have done the same thing as Mark has done

I will rate OMER's costumer support as a first clas, i changed some gear that caused problems free of charge. Of course its better for OMER to do more testing for the products. rofl

My rechargable moonlight elite worked wonderfully for 1.5 year and after that it started to not to operate. Dealer here changed the electronic internals TWO times and it had same problem again few weeks ago. May be i am using worng batteries??? I am currently using rechargeable GP 2100 ma NiMh don't sure about its voltage but probably around 1.2-1.25 volts. Idon't know may be its too much power for electronic chip and it burns it.

MARK what is the original batteries of chargeable OMER moonlight??

A train wreck from Cyprus materializes...

Cotros,

After this barrage of funny replies its hard for me to dampen the spirit with a serious reply like I first sent. Check your private email for my reply that addresses the issue and we'll take it from there Cotros. Will not let you (or any of the others) down. It's just a speargun or two and we have lot's of them... :duh

Regards,

Mark Laboccetta

When you team up Omer's products with a rep like Mark Laboccetta, how can you possibly go wrong.

I never, never, never baulk when buying an Omer product, because I know it is first hand quality, but in the rare chance that there could be an issue with the product, I know Omer and/or Mark will stand behind it.

From the first rate spearguns to the most comfortable masks made, my stuff is Omer.

Jim

You guys are nice and I apreciate the kind words. Cotros, you are welcome as I will be the first to admit Omer went beyond their call of duty. Now just shoot a big fish with it so you have something better to tell us about the gun next time.

Mark

I have to agree with all the statements about Omer and Mark. As for the company, I think Omer really made a focused effort to step up their offerings in the last 6 years or so...I think they on on the edge of the industry, fins, wetsuits, guns, ect..oh yeah did I mention the suits?

As for the man, Mark has always gone above and beyond. Im never hesitant to buy an Omer product and a BIG part of that is because of my dealings with Mark. Mark definately sets Omer apart when Im looking at gear. Thanks for all the hard work in the industry Mark...bet if you knew how much of your dive time your dive job would take you'd have thought twic about it rofl
