I would like to change the original band on my CAYMAN HF 95 !
Can somebody recommend me a band with wishbones and a new shaft?

I will! I think you had suggested to somebody a italian text about this theme, is it still available?

How do you know? It's "Balistica comparata delle armi subacquee", part 1 and part 2, on the website of Maorisub - Entra.
click on "ARTICOLI" in the menu on the left of the home page.
It's about both bandguns and pneumatics.

I read it in one of the treads, but before I need it by myself! Using the search option I couldn't find it!
I will try to find somebody who will translate it to me! thanks

I have tried a RA19mm with self produced wishbones, but I choose it to short!!! 56 cm ! The gun lost accuracy and becomes to loud when i shot! So I will change back to the original 18mm and shorten them for 2 cm. the wishbone I will do by myself again, because I was confident with the first I done on the 19mm band

I'm not sure what my band length is on mine. I did get a 7mm shaft wih a threaded end though, so I could get a more broad double flopper setup for carp and have some options.

Almost every spearo with cayman hf that I know is looking for alternative setup. Is the original one really that bad or people are just expecting too much from this gun?

Isn't the band, shaft and line rigging all standard personalization of a gun? Changing to a soft wishbone seems to be the only standard change since the metal one marks up the barrel. Out of the box though, the gun is great. It's just personalization after that imo.

I must say I was really confident with the original setup in the beginning, than the bands lost in power and I try to find a more powerful and durable band. The first try was a 54 cm original OMER Power 18 band but the metal wishbones scratch the body of the gun a lot and also there was no remarkable difference in power. Now I shortened the original band and make a dyneema wishbone. Wait for little better visibility to go and try it!
One of the reasons to change to another then the OMER Power band are the recommendations of my spearfishing friends to chose another band, more powerful and durable without lost of accuracy! Something like the Rob Allen or Cressi G20, but nobody has really experience with the Cayman HF 95 , so I decide to ask here!
