By the looks of it,it seems to be a really nice gun,i like the open muzzle and i like the intergrated rail.Has anyone here got one that they can comment on?Heard anything?.....Any feedback would be greatly appreciated,Thanks.

Hi, I would consider waiting another month or two for the Cayman Carbon. Same extruded carbon barrel as the Exc. 3000 which will be Disc., the new Cayman handle, and open muzzle with a Match 50 reel.

Our new Cayman handle is technically superior in many respects to the Excalibur that I think it's worth your while to wait.

Regards, Mark

it is acurate light open muzzle gun
as for the cayman i am waiting also breathless :t

Just noticed they've got the Caymen Carbon 75 & 90 for £135 & £140 at apnea.co.uk
However......

'Stocks of this product are expected to arrive approximately around Thursday 01 February, 2007'

Hey guys,

The guns will be available in January here too. As a reminder American guns will be specked slightly differently with some minor things like rubber loading butts, bungies, 300lb monofilament and some stainless bling bling.

The prices of the Cayman Alums will be in line with the current T-20 Alum line, the Cayman Carbon comparable to the Exc. 3000's and T-20 Carbons, and the HF's about 10-15% higher.

Both the Cayman Carbon and HF's come with the Open/Closed Muzzle, and Match 50 reels. The HF's will come stock with a sharkfin shaft as well. Here in the USA, the diver's can choose what thickness 6.5mm - 6.75mm - or 7mm sharkfin shafts.

All American Ecommerce / brick and mortar shops will stock them and offer 2 years of warranty to give customers a big selection of sellers and pricing.

just went to apnea.co.uk new website and they seem to be having problems, but their price on the New Omer Cayman 75 is sweet! Has anyone ordered from them before, if so how much did shipping usually cost to US. I'm guessing not more than $50?

That's a UK dealer and their territory is only the UK. Either way, based on today's rates in the US$ 1.9492 per pound you will be able to buy the same 75cm gun from a dealer in California or from any US Omer dealer for the same price without worrying about the shipping costs.
They should be available in January. I would call your local dealer or an ecommerce dealer such as www.spearfishinggear.com to put you on a list to call as soon as they're in. You get a 2 year warranty and you support an American business when you buy the guns here too. Send me a pm and let me know what city you're in and I'll pm you back a list of dealers.
Mark

I am going to contact spearfishinggear.com and see if they can put me on a call list. So the US gun versions will come with rubber gun butts and righty/lefties choice for handles, does this apply to the Cayman Alu as well?
