I am looking for a better mask and have been considering the Omer Alien. However I just came accross the Omer Exsite - just wondered if anyone has seen it for real - or used one?? Any opinions?
Thanks

MASCARA OMER EXSITE+

Get a Beuchat Micromax! very nice mask if I may say! You can also check the Spetton Excel, Cressi masks they are all good just check for fitness.

I only see the Exsite Asian and Russian sections of omersub.com. I'm thinking that is either an older mask, or limited distribution. According to your link it can not be sold in North America, similar to their laser knives. They must be like another mask from a scuba company and are blocked. So I have not seen the mask first hand. I do love my Alien mask though. Some people have had issues with fogging, but I took extra time to treat the lens with 500psi defog, I used it like a car wax for 3 coats. Even before that however, I was not have any difficulties with it if I used Sea Gold anti-fog. Spit alone would not work, but it does now.

If you decide to try that mask, report back, I'm curious as to how it is.

There is a similar parallel mask thread going at the moment that you might want to check out... I added some image links to it. [I thought the new Technisub mask looks similar to but a little nicer than the Beuchat, the new occhio is interesting... Omer have almost a dozen different mask types - almost all variants of the old superocchio, wonderful but which one is right for you? Funnily enough, the Alien just struck me as the one for me...although I wonder if those more Superocchio-stype/Bandit-styles offer better lower-corner peripheral vision?!]
[Looks like Apnea.co.uk might have lowered their prices on Omer masks, esp. black ones.]

thanks for the replies, I'll have to check out the other mask threads too. As I'm ordering online, I'll probably go for a well tried and tested model: omer alien. thanks for the pointer on the apnea prices X.
