Hi Everyone,

I'm quite keen on getting an Omer Simbiox wetsuit. (See http://www.omersub.com/eng/simbioxcamu_eng.asp for more info)

Besides this thread on DB (http://forums.deeperblue.com/threads/omer-simbiox-beware.94693/), which does not really paint a good picture, I cannot find too much more written about it on the web.

I'm hoping that the thread above is an isolated instance or that the materials / manufacture process has been improved.

Does anyone else have any experience diving with it?

Yep I do! Jacket was fine really nice, trousers fell apart and I'm still waiting on replacement months later (sub prof) - subprof are saying Omer are removing it from sale for this reason.

Thanks for the reply.

Damn, that’s too bad. Really looks like such a nice suit... will have to consider something else then

I liked the idea of nylon back and most of the front being smoothskin , with the theory being it will last longer than a standard smoothskin ,
But I was wrong! Lol
