Hi all,

Im interested in acquiring a new gun....
90 cm is the desired length as i already own 2 100 cm guns.

Im am divided between the T20 (Ocean Mimetic ) and Excalibur 3000 .

Both are carbon guns and the desired length as said is 90 cm.... I would also consider 100 cm if advised so.

So my question is :

Which is te best gun of the two.... what is your opinion if you have used both...

From what i see its the handle-trigger that;s the biggest difference ??

But what are the advantages-disadvantages of each one ???

Please help me quick as my birthday is around the corner and my wife is waiting for my choice !!!! :inlove

Thanks,

George

I have to say that from looking and reading about them, i would go for the excaliber 3000. It is from no first hand experience. But i have to say that the rail details given for the excaliber look alot better than the t20. I think that accuaracy is very important... and it looks like the excaliber is the more accurate of the two!

just my 50cents :D :D

Huw.

Just a honest advice from a user, not the Holy Bible:
Basically the T20 is a bit bulkier but has a stronger trigger mech and less recoil. The Excalibur is more easy-going and with a softer trigger mech. From my experience, with a T20 you play "rock" music, while the Excalibur is "hip-hop" music.
There has been a recent discussion you may find interesting in this topic:
[ame="http://forums.deeperblue.net/showthread.php?t=67540"]excalibur 2000 or t20 ?[/ame]
But that was about a 130 cm long gun: for that length I recommended a T20, but for a 90cm I would pick an Excalibur.
I have used an Excalibur Carbonium 100cm as my main weapon for five years, and enjoyed it. The Excalibur 3000 is an improved version of it, with open muzzle, circular band, full-length rail and an excellent reel included in the price. The T20 has no rail and is sold without a reel.
PS: where are you from? What kind of fish is it for?

Excalibur Demo

I don't think you could go wrong either way.
:) cool clip. Where did you get it?
I have the slight impression that Fondueset is longing for a new speargun with an alphanumeric name. A name starting with an "E"....:t

Matt at Spearfishinggear.com sent it along.

Obviously you have the famous Italian intuition about all things spearfishing :)

I am thinking about selling my little riffe and maybe getting a short or long euro instead.
