Hi all I know I may be opening a can of worms with this but just thought I'd ask if anyone had any info on these two guns? I'm looking at the 90 versions of them both and having never tried either I'm a bit lost! They're both the same price, so at the moment there's nothing between them.
Thanks in advance

Chris

Oh and the T20 is the carbon med mimetec

I've had them both and, in the 90 centimeters version, I think the XXV is better for UK fish: lighter, more compact and manouverable, a faster gun. I've much enjoyed and loved my T20's but the XXV is a better choice for a 90cm gun.

I too have used both. I currently use the XXV Gold 90 as my main gun. I liked the T20 which had a chunky, rugged, powerful feel but the XXV packs a lightning fast punch in a very slim package. Both good guns.

I’ve got one of Spaghetti’s old T20 90cms guns and I’ love it.
Like Dave has said it’s a rugged no nonsense bit of kit that’ll do anything you need it to and it won’t let you down.

Thanks for the reply's guys its a great help and it sounds like either will do a great job! The postage was slightly cheaper for the xxv so ive gone with that as I couldnt make up my mind and there were very positive reports of them both. Thanks again :)

I think you'll be happy with the XXV - although it takes a little getting used to. I found my XXV 75 really fun to use in Dorset & S. Devon - and effective. I've got a an XXV 90 since but only used it once in poor viz. at the end of last season - so not really in its element. I now regret not getting an 80cm instead though - as the 90 seemed hard work in the strong current that day, not unlike my RA90 (even though it is about 5cm shorter overall & considerably slimmer & lighter). The 75 has been brilliant, extremely agile, but I wonder if the XXV 80cm might be the best compromise for UK conditions? Only StuckInSurrey knows for sure:D

I wonder if the more substantial ergohand grip of the Cayman/T20 might work better for longer sizes, 90+?
