excalibur 3000 seemed particullarly good to me because of its elliptical shaped carbon barell and probably does not cost as much as C4, it has integrated shaft guide as well to its tube.

Yes if you look at the picture carefully you can see that, its also mentioned in tech. data sheet. That kind of barell shape help to absorb recoil thus better accuracy and better side tracking as well, of course dimensions is very important. I can not comment on dimensions without seeing it firsthand, i hope they inserted lead weights on that cabon barell or ballanced it accoringly, if they did not then this would be the great waste of such gun.

Hi Murat
İt looks a nice Gun, are you going to buy one?. The new tec Carbon barrel with intergrated shaft slide sounds good it will give more ridgidness and better accuracy but may be too ridgid to absorb recoil. Carbon Fibre, Reel and all the Trimmings, What is the cost of it? is it available through the Omer Dealer in Famagusta, or will you order Direct? I bought a new AP 90 this year so my Wife wont let me buy another Gun LOL. she complains now that every Cupboard she opens there is a gun there. if you do buy it let me know how it reacts. i never tried Omer Gear/Guns and Omer is Everywhere here so i may have to start replacing my old with new .

they're all great looking products: gotta write a loooong letter to Santa Klaus and I hope to find a shardana board and the ice fins under my Christmas tree, that's for sure.
Guns are a more technical issue: the T10 handle on XXV speagun looks slimmer and lighter than the T20, but i wonder if the trigger is still the same, and how mass reduction in the handle can effect accuracy and recoil. And yes, about the ex 3000 murat's question is a good one. just wait to find them in shops.

If the barell is not rigid it will flex under heavy load, especially on longer barell models. When it flex, it will absorb considerable amount of energy from the power bands which supossed to be delivered to the shaft, thus the shaft will fly with less energy than it should be. So rigid barell is good thing, carbon ones does not flex anyway. The important thing which helps to absorb recoil and shoot with better accuracy is shape, matterial, and weight of the barell. If it has smillar shape to TOTEMSUB's pelagos model it would be great, it will absorb the recoil, and will move better sideways. It will be still light enough to handle in deep dives, thats the good point of the carbon guns, and they are unparelled when you need quick shoots rather than optimum accuracy.

I just talked with fabrizio of TOTEMSUB on the phone and probably i will order pelagos but fancy to try those excalibur 3000s. May be get one just to see how its works.

ps. Groupermadness whats the AP 90??

Spagetthi, mass reduction on handle will not affect much accuracy as long as you can still put anatomic handle on it :) I think they also switched the line relase mechanism with automatic one, probably like excalibur series which is connected to the triger.Personaly i think relasing the line from below is more relaibale. But i have no complains about T20 line relase since i am using two of them on my wood guns.. :)

Chack out the muzzle of the XXV! Mark's comments would be highly appreciated whether this transperant bridge is durable enough. The other thing is I see the front band caps are actually a wishbone connected by a wire bridge. The brige lays in ac opened channel on the bottom of the head. What prevents these front "wishbones" from falling out after you fire the gun?

ok. If so, I think I'll buy one of those new omer XXV (I have to replace my old 75 rubbergun with a new one, and this seems to fit for me).
But about your exca 3000 barrell question, i just wonder how can a carbon barrell with integrated shaft guide flex. I bet it doesn't, even if hard overloaded: it's a rigid material with a rigid structure, as the shaft guide itself works as a spinal column. It's the same concept of the seac sub x fire and of most railguns: the guide is not only there for accuracy, but also as an element to help the barrell stay straight under effort. Am i wrong?

Really nice! Can I be a beta tester here in the harsh environs of the Northwoods?!

Spagetthi if you read carefull my post you will notice that i just tried to explain why barell flex is no a good thing. I also belive excalibur 3000's barell will not flex, even if it would not had a shaft guide.

Wishbone, do you remmember how i modified my excalibur 2000's muzzle last year? I cut of the bridge and put the pins to keep the shaft with aid of the line. Belive me muzzle is better without muzzle bridge. I did this a year ago and OMER is only now started to produce them rofl funny isn't it?
Anyway who want to have 4 different combination in one muzzle? you take of that and have different muzzle, put that and again have different one, just like cartoon of Transformer rofl They are both robot and vehicles but in my opinion they are not good in both ways. In my experiance such things (multipurpose) tools will not serve anything perfectly. If you want to have open muzzle go and buy proper open muzzle or vise versa or buy closed one and modify it just like me..

All products are really cool looking but I see that Omer doesn't have a first class pneumatic. Scorpion is out of production (I really don't understand why) and the only option is either a very short (50-70cm) or a very long (130cm) Tempest pneumatic.
Most European brands have a complete series of air guns. Why Omer, being probably the biggest company on its field, overlooks this part of equipment?

more importantly imagine what will happen if this metal cord breaks while the gun is loaded :blackeye

These really look like some very smart changes - I like both the muzzle and barrel changes on the excalibur - kinda funny really because it is exactly what I was wishing for :).
The Cobra is a beautiful piece of work.

guys did you notice that they claimed their's new ice fins gives the same performance of carbon fins!!!!!???? Come on now, they are plastic!! now should we belive that ice fins is better than carbons? i tend to belive its a merketing gimmick but they also reproduced record series carbon fins. Now, if ice fins gives same performance as carbons why should we pay much more to carbonfins?? Or may be they meant their ice fins gives same performace as other brands of carbon fins, such as C4 and their's carbon records gives even better performance than C4 carbons.

Now i am totally lost here...

Murat, I'm sorry: I simply misunderstood what you wrote and I apologize friendly (still hungry for my nick?)
about ice fins, what they claim is that performance is "almost identical" to carbon. That may be possibly true, for research on thermoplastic is making giant steps, but almost still means almost.
let's check the price (still a mistery as far as i know), and check if the price itself isn't "almost identical" to carbon too: that fin looks cool, and transparency is the best camouflage man can imagine (I never believed so much in painted mimetic gear).

no problem mate, i like spaghetti. I prepare it myself nothing like original but still tastes good for me :)

Those ice fin's perfromance issue seems suspicious to me. If its that good which they claim about it, then they should stop making and selling BATs fins at all. rofl

excalibur 3000 looks great, it is a summary of all the upgrades we tried making on the 2000, the rail giude, open muzzle etc... i guess RA and Rabitech will start feeling the heat, not to mention that we as spearos will have too many choices :)

greatest benefit is its barell shape if its the same shape i guessed.
