Hey,
I received another wetsuit from elios along with their usual bunch of samples.. one of the samples was a shiney, slippery blue on one side and what appeared to be an open cell on the other.. does anyone know what eliossub is calling this?

It's a sure sweet piece of neoprene, and I definitely would have considered this over the sweet hiewa with superstretch lining that I did get.

Later,
Fred

Liscio/spaccato? (couldn't be just a blue camo smoothskin outside/open cell inside?)

no, it's not the blue camo.. the wetsuit I got this time is the blue camo pelagos with superstretch.. it's definitely a lining of some type.. maybe similar to something like titanium but only blue and seems to be more durable than their black coating or a titanium coating when I stretch it... I don't think it's a version of their freedown?? I really think it's an inner lining not an outer lining.. it's so slippery against the skin.. definitely would not need lube to put it on.

I emailed elios and asked them what the sample was... apparently an outside lining... here was their response:

Hi,
we have include a new Freedown Superskin blue neoprene from Yamamoto 45, available also in Red and Gold!

Happy New Year
