On vacation in Florida, help!

Hi, I am from Ohio but in Florida now and looking for another freediver or divers to hit some of the springs with. I will be in the Orlando area, then north florida and the panama city bch area. iVacation in Florida every year and hope I can help. You have few options but You are not in the best area for freediving in FL - that would be Miami area or Key West or keys.
DB Florida freedivers You want to contact are cdavis (big on springs), diverTodd (guy from Ohio living in FL), jtkwest to name a few.

From Orlando I drove only 1hr to Coco Beach near space center, great spot for surfing not sure about freediving.

If You get to Miami You can even meet local spear fisher in marina and split fuel cost (definitely need boat)

In Ft. Lauderdale/Pompano Beach You can go for pool workout with Martin Stepanek depending on avail.

DRIVE down to key west. its probably worth the drive as compared with what your options will be, staying up in the boondocks. take the turnpike south till it ends. then get on us-1 and drive south till that road ends. then you are there! its like another planet as compared to where you are now.orlando is swampland.hot landlocked tourist nightmare!LOL!! live your dreams man! dont compromise- you only live once.
