50 minutes dive time with 21ºC water temps..

its a jelly... i got stung a couple of weeks ago in Fujairah by something that looked very similar to that... owwwwwwwwww

Weird, I played with quite of a few of those things including something that looks exactly like that and never got stung.
By 'play' I mean navigating it with my hand to be able to inspect it better...
I guess I was lucky. :cool:
 
Don't know what salps are, but jellyfish belong to phylum cnidaria and tunicates belong to tunicata, if it's a jelly fish (and I'm pretty sure it is) it's not a tunicate. :)
Unless there are exceptions I don't konw of.
