Question Open cell suit

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Hi, I just bought my first open cell suit to start free diving and spearfishing in the future. I’ve been using baby shampoo but my skin is very sensitive and this is giving me some troubles. Hope someone here can tell me if there’s any alternative to shampoo? Thnx in advance
 
Try to dillute it in a 20:1 ratio and then, after you have done the suit, let some sea water in.

You can also use a mix of water and body lotion, but should be like 1:1 ratio and you'll need some more. Also dilluted hair conditioner works.

Thnx, Will try to flush it out a bit tomorrow and see how that turns out. Is it not much harder to get out of the suit when the lubricant is gone?

No. You have to learn how to take it off. There's many youtube videos around. Even in Spanish.

To take the top off: With the hood on, grab the lower part of the top and roll it over as far up as you can, fill that pocket with water, put one elbow inside and raise both hands. It will come off very easy.
