Hi everyone,
I'm a new freediver and have been practicing tables for a few months now using apps while mostly doing dry apnea training.
So far it's been fun but I'm thinking of adding yoga/breath "packing" exercises etc. to expedite higher performance.

That got me thinking -
if you looked back on your freediving journey, what advice would you give to your younger self?
Were their any sticky plateaus and/or pain points that you underestimated and any specific exercises/systems that really helped you out?

Thank you!!

Get some professional training as soon after you start diving as possible. Man, would that have speeded me up. Personal opinion, you will get more out of the course if you have at least a minimal amount of experience, but no so much as to lock in bad habits.

Best things that improved my diving: longfins becoming available, a PFI freediving course, and learning exhale diving
