I live in the Southern ottawa region (greely/metcalfe), unfourtanatly a fair drive from your area. I too am also obviously very interested in freediving. I contacted a certified freediver recently as to either making a club or a gathering place for people close to our areas. He had informed me he would get back to me in less than a month... its almost been three.

What age are you and what level are you at?
P.S. welcome to the forum! theres lots of things to learn on this site!

I am 25yrs. I am just in the book stage of Scuba diving.. My father in law is a master diver and has taken me down a few times too.. As for free diving I didnt even know they have cerification.. I just snorkel around mostly.. I have dove to 25-30ft is my deepest just for fun taking pics and spearfishing on vacation sometimes.. I would be very interested if a club started.. I am looking forward to improving my breath hold and diving.. All I have learned so far is from browsing the internet or picked up just on my own.. thanks later

I'm in Ottawa as well. I'm looking for a dive buddy for evening and weekends outings. I dive mostly in rivers and love looking for lost items.

Hi, I am fifteen years old and I am looking to learn/ train. I have currently dove to a depth of 18ft the reason being deepest is that's more less the deepest spot I've been to.
