Our Bill was in Costa Rica?

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I read in the LA Times that the retired Marine was 70 years old too.

After recent surgery on both shoulders, I'm afraid I would be no threat to muggers's necks, but then I've got almost two years to get back to normal at his age.

Hahaha, good find. I like how the other two muggers ran away after they broke the one guys neck.rofl

I would like to know that ex-Marine. He must have a pretty strong workout routine. How much force does it take to break a twenty year old punk's neck. There is a few here that could use the same.!!!! Well Done!!!!

Never sell old folks short, no matter how bad a shape they are in. My mother-in-law, a sweet little old lady, not strong enough to hurt a fly, was accosted by a mugger a few years ago. He tried to steal her purse and ended up having his finger darn near bitten off. He ran away, bleeding, yelling "YOU CRAZY LADY!"

Nice! Maybe they'll respect their elders a bit more now!:martial :crutch rofl

Actually it doesn't take all that much to break the human neck. The military takedown he probably used depends more on weight in motion than actual physical strength. We all learn it in Basic . . .
