Please foward to as many as possible. Dear bubble lovers, my husband and I have something that may be of interest to all divers. We are looking for as many votes as possible to help start a Marine sanctuary somewhere on a remote island. If we win this submission we can pursue our dreams of running a dive resort some day and make a difference for one lucky reef . Helping out a community by providing motivation to stop overfishing and increase tourism instead can be a win win for all divers and ocean enthusiast alike. Please vote for us and pass on the good word about our submission for a promising idea. It just takes one click to save a reef, no catch, no cost, see the link below, thanks Karma Jewell http://www.membersproject.com/project/view/I1MWLX

That's a very ambitious project you want to do. Good luck.

Personally I say 'don't fix something that ain't broke'. Unless you're saving a reef from destructive fishing techniques, you shouldn't bother the local people there. That's how I feel anyhow.

The whole idea is to "save" a reef, so obviously we would pick an Island that neede something like this. Some Islands in third world countries are in desperate need of help. A project like ours can bring jobs providing income that does not involve illegal shark finnig, overfishing, and the all around depletion of the reef. When it comes down to it we are one planet and we need to start educating and helping people to protect it. Every little bit helps, so vote for our project and hekp us make a difference. No catch so why not:)

It would help if you provide more information on the project. For example, what are the islands that you have short listed as needing help and what your plans are, step by step (how you're going to go about achieving your goals).

Honestly I admire your courage to attempt something like this. It takes balls.

Well to be honest with you we have a few in mind. Much research is too be done in deciding which community is best. First of all we wouldn't want to barge in and take over a place that was not on board with our ideas so that will take convincing and educating. This will entail travel and select promotion of our ideas. The Bay Islands, the cook islands, Costa Rica(carribean side) may be options. Do you have any ideas? We are very passionate about this but there is much to be learned on our part, all suggestions welcome. American express is offering to fund mucho dollars to our project if we get the most votes. I apprieciate your advice and shall revise project. Thanks Karma Jewell:)
