So I ordered a couple of new safety catches on eBay for my older Mares Sten Competition... the original was a faded lime green and the new Jet catches are a nice bright red!

The transaction was fine, posted from the Netherlands... tracking showed quick progress until it hit Australian Border Force (Customs) where it got delayed.

Eventually released, I picked them up today.
Inside was a note saying the package had been opened and inspected.

Incredibly, some over zealous Border Force officer had attempted to lever off the red cap on one catch to see if there were any drugs hidden underneath!

Grrr... permanently damaged, surely X rays and swabs are enough?
