Hey - anyone remember Pablo ? What happened to him ? Did he drift off ? The Spanish/French guy who lived in New Zealand ?

And could build a kayak from a few broken eggshells and a needle. :)
(I second that question)

He's still there Ed, enjoying life. I haven't heard any thing from him in a while though.

got an email from him just recently.. he is in love :inlove at the mo' (not with me!) and is enjoying life thoroughly ;)

drop him a pm, he will get it. :)

Cool - I was just thinking about all his posts about making a kayak out of a rubber band and a swiss army penknife - then that got me wondering to what he was up to - anyway, glad things are good :)

Upsss!!! I think is time to add web access to Eric's F1...

Sara :inlove :inlove be careful: I'm warm blooded, you remember rofl :ko rofl

Missing this place... missing Ali... I often think about down there :(

Hi everyone, I keep lurking time to time, it just happens to be bussy times, but it doesn't mean is less important or I forget about...

conyo Pablo!!!! nice pic and great lobsters... well actually do you call those crays?

hehehehehe yes we all know that you are hot blooded ;)

thanks for your tribute to my Alison... i miss her a great deal :waterwork

Yes Crays, and even if they are small is good to see them because last season they where scarce. I could see hundreds of them under the gigantic ledge where I got those. One got away... I won't blame him: It try to hold him under my arm and get three on one dive.

We'll all miss her and you'll always keep her with us...

Glad that you are around Pablo ! It's good to be busy :) - nice kayak in the background - I went for a red one (ehem... ok it's pink ...)

Welcome back Pablo!
Talking of Kayaks, I'm also thinking of purchasing a Cobra ( but not a pink one :hmm )! What do you think of them?

What's wrong with pink ?! Sweet kayaks but I am itching for something sleeker already - oh dear speed freak I am afraid....

I have a cobra expedition. I use to rent other (more stable) kayaks for my girlfriend to come along, but she'll always end up paddling mine... So I brought a second one.

Now is the paddle! she keep stealing my wing paddle, instead of using her top of the range tourer carbon paddle... So I'll go to buy a new one for me, give mine to her and sale the tourer paddle.

She as no experience... but the combo Cobra expedition/wing paddle is really hard to beat.

Cobras are great... a live guaranty, and the designs are awesome. Tarpon do some nice stuff too. The mirage drive on the hobbie boats is worth the try... specially on the sleeker adventure.

Pink :hmm where are the pictures???

rudder included? now there's a thought... rofl

The last one was a demo, and got it for NZ$ 1500 with RUDER, the 3 hatches and the ventury suction valve. No seat or paddle.

Cobra paddles are design for rentals... not for performance: avoid them!

I've done my own seats... I like to change positions in function the ruder action and the valve suction.
