packing.... cansomeone explain that to me?

hi all.
i saw the term packing. i am clue less.
what is that technique?
what is gained through it?
and ca you please pour some light on purging as well?

Packing means that after you take a full breath, you use your mouth to push down or "pack" in more air into your lungs. So you can hold your breath longer once you get used to the unconfortable feeling of pressure in your chest. It is simple but hard to explain. Start out slowly because you can get hurt if you try to pack too much. By practicing you will eventually be able to pack more. If you don't get it right off do a search and many discussions on this will come up. There is also a word document floating around but I could not find it for you made by Eric (efattah) on Frentzel equalization and packing which is very good.

I think purging just means you take a full breath, exhale as much as possible and you take one more breath.

Go very slowly with packing in the beginning or you might hurt yourself. You can also try and use the search option on 'pack stretching'.
