Hi Ya All!!!

I've just finished working on my experimental Paddle Board Spearing Float and was wanderin if this will work coz i still dont have time for diving. Have you guys made something similar? Would appreciate for your advice. I need my float to be small without inflating. Its just for small reef fish. Im hunting in less than 10 meters only.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers:friday

looks great! could i make a few upgrade selections? the float it self is a great choice. seriously, i wish i had a couple like that, but all those caribiner clips need to go. they are aluminum, but the pins and springs in them are not and will rust immediately. also the lines are kind clustered. i bet if you took one lenth of line, and tied it off to the float,in an x pattern or whatever works, leaving a loop, or tying a stainless ring, or they do have stainless steel caribiners in marine stores for like 20$us but i think a loop or ring is better. low tech is always better. i hope i dont sound like i am being critical, the truth is, it would work good the way you have it, i am only suggesting upgrading because the float itself looks ideal, and set up correctly would work for big fish too. i used a hard lifeguard "jim buoy" and filled it with foam. it costs 100$us plus the foam. and it looks about the same as what you got! good luck!

Thanks mate!!!

The foams is the one i missed. The colored carabineers will really go, its just for the testing and will replace it with stainless ones. The red cord running across are bungy cord to attached my polespear and crab grabber hehehe. I'll be using your idea if the bungy cord will not last in salt water. Really appreciate your advice and will use it as plan B.

Thanks again
